Project Overview
Farkindamisiniz.com ("Are you aware?") was the digital centerpiece of a broader campaign celebrating the vital role Mercedes-Benz vehicles play in daily life. I was the Art Director and Designer for this project, which merged storytelling, interactivity, and artistic design to create an engaging user experience.
Concept and Purpose
The campaign aimed to highlight the diverse contributions of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, from private cars to public service vehicles like buses, ambulances, garbage trucks, and school buses.
At the heart of the campaign was a meticulously crafted isometric illustration of Istanbul, representing a vibrant cityscape where Mercedes-Benz vehicles seamlessly blend into daily urban life. The artwork not only showcased the brand but also captured familiar, everyday moments, turning them into an immersive visual experience.
Interactive Digital Experience
The digital component featured an engaging game inspired by "Where's Wally?" Users explored the rich, detailed cityscape to locate specific details and life moments, emphasizing the omnipresence of Mercedes-Benz.

- Structured across multiple levels, the game tasked users with spotting life-like scenarios, such as a child hanging onto a tram while riding a skateboard.

Project Overview
This campaign launched Mercedes-Benz’s new SUV family—GLC, GLE, and GLE Coupe—showcasing their dominance across all terrains: mountain, rock, snow, and mud. To highlight their versatility, we created an interactive YouTube Masthead, allowing users to engage with the vehicles through voice commands.
I served as the Art Director, Animator, and Scriptwriter for the project, handling both creative and technical challenges to deliver an engaging experience.
Interactive Features
- Users interacted with the vehicles using voice commands, placing their chosen SUV model on a terrain of their choice.
- The design emphasized the SUVs' adaptability while staying photorealistic, matching the premium feel of the brand.
Technical Challenges and Solutions
- The 1.5 MB file size limit for the masthead—required due to frequent loading on YouTube's homepage—posed a significant challenge for a photorealistic campaign.
- To meet the size restriction while maintaining quality, I used tillable photographic assets for landscapes instead of vector shapes.
Results
- 10+ million impressions and 4 million unique users reached.
- 25,000 clicks and 500,000 video views directly from the Masthead.
- Average user engagement time: 10 seconds, with over 80% redirected to the website.
- Featured in Google’s gallery of most successful advertising campaigns.
