Objective

Create an epic, visually striking AI-produced film composed of standalone cinematic shots to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of Türkiye’s Victory Day.

Approach

Each shot was developed individually as a stylised image while maintaining a consistent cinematic language throughout the film. The AI workflow was supplemented with descriptive and visual references of Turkish soldiers from the War of Independence period, helping guide the imagery toward greater historical specificity.

Because generative AI models often defaulted to visual references based on European First World War soldiers, several images required further manual refinement in Photoshop to more accurately represent Turkish military uniforms and period details.

Historical material was also incorporated directly into selected compositions. Elements such as the map of the Battle of Sakarya were composited into the imagery before the final stills were transformed into individual AI-generated video sequences. This hybrid workflow combined AI generation, historical references, manual image editing, compositing, and AI video production to achieve a consistent cinematic style while remaining closer to the visual identity of the period.

Outcome

Through a consistent cinematic style, precise editing, detailed prompt engineering, and extensive manual refinement, the final film moved beyond the typical look and feel of AI-generated imagery. The result was a cohesive and distinctive piece with an epic, proud visual tone that reflected the significance of Victory Day.
