Objective

Create an emotional AI-produced film for 29 October Republic Day, inspired by the well-known saying, “Cumhuriyet kimsesizlerin kimsesidir” — “The Republic is the guardian of those who have no one.”

The film tells the story of a boy from a poor background whose life is transformed through the education and opportunities provided by the Republic.

Approach

The project follows a single character through different stages of his life. The process began by establishing the image and identity of the young boy, then developing consistent versions of the same character at different ages as his story progressed.

Multiple AI image-generation models were used to achieve the required character continuity, environments, and cinematic style. Weavy image-generation workflows were also used to develop and refine the imagery. Each frame was individually edited where necessary before being transformed into video sequences, combining AI generation, manual image editing, and image-to-video production into a consistent visual narrative.

Result

The final film delivered a personal and emotional story, subtly reflecting the values behind Republic Day through one individual’s journey. Rather than celebrating the day directly, it focused on the opportunities and hope the Republic represents.
